Dressing Perfect
Being perfect, in a metaphorical sense, is impossible. It is impossible to be perfect. But one can try. I think one of my friends have reached this level: he has perfectly dressed.
People have many definitions of dressing perfectly. Someone in my school may define dressing perfectly as having crazy hair, a messy shirt (but a perfect messy shirt). But his definition: a buttoned shirt, jacket, and clean and orderly hair.
So every day, my friend would come dressed up in a perfect t-shirt underneath, button up whatever he happens to wear that has buttons, make his collar perfect, and go to class.
People are quite particular actually about what they wear. For example, another interesting topic would be the ID cards.
We were given student IDs at the beginning of the year. They were just little cards that had our name on them, our picture, and a smiling mascot and our school name printed.
But it was just interesting to see how people wore them. Some people wore them clipped to their waist, some inside their wallet, some inside their purse, and some just didn’t wear it at all.
Our teachers also wore IDs, and it was interesting to see how they wore it as well. One teacher had ten cards clipped to his chest. I stopped one day and asked him what they were.
He pointed out a 2008-2009 card, a 2007-2008 card, a 2006-2007 card, and so forth, all the way back to 2000.
Talk about memories.
