Rain on the Sea (Poem)

Rain on the sea,
The water in the breeze,
Watch it blow free,
The rain on the sea.

It slowly grows more,
The water more dense,
Slowly raining offshore,
That sound I adore.

I stand above the sea,
As if I am floating,
Watch it blow free,
The rain on the sea.

The hotel near the shore,
Watching over the sea,
I don’t hate rain anymore.
I adore.

I wish it would pour,
Rain so much.
Rain  so much more,
Come on and pour.

Rain on the sea,
The water in the breeze,
Watch it blow free,
The rain on the sea.

The hotel in Galveston is called the Flagship Hotel, and it is built on the water on a huge pier. During our vacation in Galveston, before we were about to leave, it started completely pouring. The rain came down hard and the water dripped down, forming a waterfall over our balcony.
