Furdo is not a word you can find in a dictionary. Furdo is a word, however, that I hastily put together, taking “fur” and “hairdo” to make up this ridiculous word.
Regardless of the word’s correctness, Peanut (my dog) got a furdo a few weeks ago.
We took him (for the first time) to a doggy salon and got him cut up by a professional.
Peanut was so mean to the pro the moment my mom left. He started biting her hand until she got him calmed down. Then up went the neck and the cutting started.
When we got him back, we were astounded.
Based on my mom’s requests, Peanut had turned into a “lion”. Parts of his neck was not trimmed, but the rest were skin-tight. His tail had only the very end of it nice and fat. The rest was thin.
When we first got him back, he was tied up in a nice bandana on the neck. He had been washed and bathed beyond amazing. He wasn’t even itchy!
But not so amazingly, he chewed up the bandana the next day, as well as my mom’s decorative polar bear doll.
As well as some toilet paper, some carpet, and some of me…
