This morning, when I was asleep, something remarkably funny happened. My dad told me about it at dinner, and it all happened in just a few minutes.
My dad was taking Peanut, my dog, out for a nice walk. Nothing too long. Just a short little walk around. I was snoring away in my bed, not wanting to wake up until I really had to or else I would be late for school.
There is a boy that goes to school every day, and he is across the street from where I live.
But anyway’s, that boy from the house across the street where I live (confusing is very fun sometimes) rode to school that morning. He probably went to school earlier than I did, or else I was seriously late.
Peanut went crazy as soon as he saw him. As the boy overtook my dad and Peanut, my dog went wild.
If he could speak, this is what he’d probably be saying:
“HEY! Go faster! Hurry up! What are you waiting for! That’s Brad there!”
My dad described Peanut as “thinking that he was” me. It was absolutely hilarious listening to him.
At the end, I patted Peanut on the face very lovingly, and Peanut gave me a very loving puppy-dog face.
I told him, “You are such a cute little dog.”
“Such a cute little stupid dog. And that’s why I love you.”
Penut is interesting.
