Trip: DesertFlight – Debriefing

Your drill sarg’ here. Today we are going to debrief the trip. Codenamed DesertFlight, this is not so top secret… here is the data and plan of this trip.

Day One

At 0900, troops will leave Houston and travel in the 9 o’clock direction to the city called San Antonio, and continue moving forward. Going to the 12 o’clock direction, we will arrive at Garner State Park / Lost Maple State Park. We will stay the night in Uvalde or Del Rio.

Day Two

The next morning at 0900, we will stop at the Amistad National Recreation Area and the Seminole Canyon State Park. We will stay the night at the reservation in a hotel at Big Bend National Park.

Day Three, Four, Five

We will explore Big Bend National Park for trails, etc. We will stay in several different locations.

Day Six

We will leave Big Bend National Park and travel to Big Bend Ranch State Park. We will stay at Fort Stockton, or if time allows, Junction.

Day Seven, Eight

We will, on our way home, visit Enchanted Rock State Park and Pedernales Falls State Park and will stay along the way if needed.

On Your Mark…

So, as you can see, recruits, it will take eight days or less to finish our journey. There will probably be at least five more information posts about DesertFlight; check the “desertflight” tag to see them.
