Poor Peanut gets Neutered

This morning, between seven and eight, my little pup Peanut got sent to the vet. The title says it all. He got neutered.

We picked him up around 4:30. There weren’t many people. I got to take a look at where they were keeping him. It turned out he was in a crate about the same size as the one we use to keep him home, which is the size of about a fireproof safe.

When he came home, he kept on biting his cut, which he is not supposed to do. We called the doctor, who told us to wrap an old tee around him. Once he did that, we sprayed some Bitter Apple, which is a type of stuff that dogs simply don’t like.

And after that, I just had to laugh.

Peanut looked ridiculous in his light-blue shirt as he padded around, and eventually came to a rest. He looked absolutely funny.

I don’t want to post a picture, but here’s what he looks like.

His feet and front paws are stretching out, as if he was going to take a little nap. His lower torso (I don’t know what it is called, but if he were human, it would be about where your lower torso is) all the way to his feet were covered by an old tee-shirt.

Put together with him laying down on the carpet and occasionally hobbling all over the place, he looks plain funny.

If you saw him, you’d admit it too.
