soul log

Swoosh

I am really addicted to this website: writing for it, working on it, and especially making useless thingamajigs on it.

For example, a few months ago, I made some headers. And now, I’ve made the next cool thing.

For English readers, you may have noticed some cryptic boxes appearing in the sidebar with a link to somewhere. To Chinese readers, that’s the link to my Chinese blog, also called “chaotic mortal” (except translated into Chinese).

Well, my mom one day told me that the words for them should be bigger. Then I went and surfed one of my friend’s blogs and I saw he had links to his stuff, except in the form of buttons.

“Well, hey” I thought as I looked at his buttons. I wanted something more graphical, though.

Introducing the new graphic icons. See them already? The colorful ones on the sidebar. There are links to some cryptic thing (actually, it’s the word for “Please Read Chinese Version” in Chinese, of course), my tech blog, my photo blog, my wiki, and a button to login. Sweet, huh?

Furthermore, if you visit any of those sites, you will receive links back to the other ones. For example, visiting my tech blog will have you see links back here, to my photo blog, to my wiki, and to login to the tech blog.

Except for the photo blog. I haven’t figured a way to do it yet. Well, I do, but I was just so eager to write this thing and get it out so the people who are wondering what colorful dingbats are on the sidebar know quickly.

Sweet, eh?
