Battle By the Dogs and the Ape

So, after the fat panda (if you haven’t yet, go ahead and read it) I went on and saw the end of a performance.

I sat down because I was kind of bored, and wondered what this performance did.

The performance was in the middle of showing a cute little monkey walk off the stage. I thought I missed the whole thing, but then too dogs came on, standing up and wearing boxing gloves. They were lead by trainers.

I thought this was strange and murmured something that sounded like “abuse”, but I continued to watch.

“Let us begin a match— a doggy battle match— of boxing! Now, for the dog on the left, it is team BLUE!!! For the dog on the right,” the announcer who was wearing a denim jacket said in a pompous voice, “it is team RED!”

Then he continued, “Let the match BEGIN!” He shouted the last word, obviously spitting because of a low-bass pisst noise.

The trainers let go of the dogs, and they began to box.

Seriously.

Red Dog started pounding Blue dog (colors meaning teams). The Blue Dog pounded back. This continued for about three seconds until their legs buckled up.

Immediately a trainer put an arm between them, and it was a good thing he did, because it looked like some legs might be broken.

“And now we will begin again, “the announcer shouted in a haughty voice once again. “NOW!” Then I watched as Red Dog pounded Blue Dog which pounded Red Dog.

The match stopped as Red Dog fell down. However, I watched Red Dog’s trainer secretly give him a biscuit, which meant that Red Dog’s loss was planned.

“FINISHED now, and the match for the dogs!” The announcer blurted, but not before a last punch from Red Dog came onto Blue Dog.

The announcer pretended to furrow his brow. “HEY! What’s going on here? Hmm? Illegal move, huh? HEY! Stop it,” the announcer attempted to calm Red Dog (fake again, because Red Dog was given a biscuit).

The game would continue, but not for the dogs.

“Aaand (I made special note that he lagged the “and”) now we are finished with our show today, aaand if you would like to take pictures, you may riiiiight NOW!”

I was about to leave before I noticed that an ape was coming on stage. A trainer was holding a trainer’s pad in his hand as the ape punched and punched the pad.

A punch. OOH, a kick! A punch. A kick. A punch. A kick.

I heard sounds of people taking pictures as the ape rounded a U-turn and began marching towards the other end of the stadium, punching and kicking.

Awesome performance.
