I was a header maniac yesterday. Sound strange? Not if you have been watching me over the last week.
Why?
Over the last week, I have been totally revamping the site. You can see it evident if you’ve been to my site before. The background has changed, the header has changed (actually, it changes every time you reload now), the style has changed, and even the pages have changed!
I’ve moved The Me File into About. I’ve moved the About Me about into about. And I’ve added a WordPress about inside about. I’ve added a Live Archive to Archive which was newly made.
Basically, I have been doing major improvements.
My dad suggested yesterday morning that the headers looked to “adultish”. There were pictures of sunsets and fires (and of course, my own photographs I took of reflections, snow mountains, and stuff). It was professional, but I needed a more “kiddish” professional.
I know I’m making up a LOT of words right now, but I am serious.
The evening before yesterday, there was a party going on at our house. A old relative of ours was going back to China. We held a party for her, and a lot of my relative friends came.
Along with them came their daughters and sons and they were all bigger than me. Surprisingly, I held well and most everyone had fun. I spent a little bit of time working on the header that night, too, trying to figure out how to make one header for only one category show up but at the same time allowing my random header script to continue on other pages or posts (if you know how, please comment and I will be thankful).
The next morning, my dad suggested searching on Google for some images.
I did it unwillingly.
What I got back was awesome.
There was a site that let you legally download wallpapers! The images were great, but they were for wallpapers. But the fix was relatively simple: crop it.
Some of the headers I retouched. Some of them I edited.
Now, the headers are different. No more adultish sunset, no more fire: just more kid stuff.
You might be wondering, now, how I was going to make such a huge leap. Well, I’m not. I am still going to be my mature self; the self that is said to be TOO mature by friends; the self that doesn’t like video games or Gameboys or XBox or games; the self that likes fiddling with PHP, HTML, Windows, animation, photo editing, and the Registry.
Cheers!
