2nd Day: It’s another day of howling, barking, and jumping with Peanut. Everyone in my family is wondering when he’ll settle. The only way to do that is to turn out the lights and leave only a lamp on. And when that happens, you will need a large amount of patience before he’ll settle down. He’s also displaying a strange likeness of being outside.
Peanut’s second day in my home now. He’s sleeping now. Shhh! Don’t disturb. Peanut’s ridiculously cute. Today, I taught him maybe 1/2 of the command “sit”?
I say “1/2″ and “maybe” because he references every word I say as the command “sit”. I say “come here” and he sits. I talk to my mom while holding him and he tries to sit. That is a problem I will need to fix.
I read some information on crate training because he expressed a great dislike of his crate, which is supposed to be his home. The tips only told me to “start training from the beginning”, to “introduce him to his home”, and maybe a little bit more, but then that’s it!
The tips haven’t proved ridiculously useful yet, and it conflicts with advice I received from the family I got Peanut from. The tips say I am supposed to control his access to food and water, but the family says I need only to control access to food. There’s another problem.
So this day with Peanut is problematic.

I see poor Peanut would try anything to get his training treat, wouldn’t he? It was interesting.
Yes. Peanut loved it.
it seems like that u r peanut’s parent, and she(he)’s your baby. So just be patient…everything will alright. (soon…i guess!!!)
You could assume that, because I call him baby…
